Hodder Barristers is the continuation of the law practice of J. Gardner Hodder, who has been practicing civil litigation in Toronto since his call to the bar in 1985. He is certified as a specialist in civil litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Our essential staff is comprised of three lawyers and two law clerks.

Our offices occupy the top floor of Adelaide Place, located at 181 University Avenue and Adelaide Street in downtown Toronto.

  • In January of 1996 Mr. Hodder became the first lawyer in Ontario to win a class action trial under the Class Proceedings Act. He is also the founding president of the Toronto chapter of the International Network of Boutique Law Firms .
